Interactive stories that make running fun - one episode at a time.

Runtales is an interactive running game where you need to physically run to make it through interactive stories. The first story, The Locket, takes place in the Wild West and it involves a missing sister and a mysterious locket.

*** Only works on iPhone 5S, 6 and 6+ running iOS 8.0 or later ***

The Game
Progress in the game by winning challenges. Run faster to escape threats or run slower to sneak past threats. The game has been been created in cooperation with running and health experts giving you the best possible running experience.

Story
The story is written especially for its purpose: to constantly be on the run. During the story someone might be after you, or you need to track down something in front of you.

Tracking
We use the pedometer to get the best possible tracking. Runtales is designed for outdoor running and performs best with your device strapped firmly to your body.

Health app
Runtales can share information about your workouts with the Health app, including calories burned.

User reactions:
"Ive been out running with your Runtales-app, and I was very surprised. It was SO funny and motivating! There is a great storyline, good music and it is easy to understand the instructions."

"Overall I think the music is very successful pretty much throughout, and there is a very suitable shift between the rhythms and speeches. The concept is very effective at letting you forget where and how far you are."

NOTE: Be careful when running in traffic and please keep the audio level down in order to navigate safely on your run. Please also note that we might receive data about your usage of our app when an episode has been completed. This data is purely non-personal and cannot be tracked to any specific user.
